The log files reveal information about the following usage: Number of visits, and number of unique visitors Visits duration and last visits Authenticated users, and last authenticated visits Days of week and rush hours (pages, hits, KB for each hour and day of week) Domains/countries of hosts visitors (pages, hits, KB, domains/countries detected) Hosts list, last visits and unresolved IP addresses list Most viewed, entry and exit pages Files type Web compression statistics Browsers used (pages, hits, KB for each browser, each version) Operating System Used (such as Windows 2000, Windows XP, Macintosh, pages, hits, KB for each OS) Visits of robots Search engines, key phrases and keywords used to find your site (The 90 most used search engines are detected such as yahoo, google, altavista, etc...) HTTP errors (Page Not Found with last referrer, ...) Other than log file statistical reports, no other information is reviewed, collected or stored by the City of Canton. Children's Privacy: The City of Canton website is in compliance with The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. The City of Canton website does not have the ability to determine if a visitor to our site is a minor child. The City of Canton does not solicit or store personal information from children. General Privacy: If a user voluntarily submits personal information including names, addresses, and phone numbers, via an email or an online form, that information is used solely to address and respond to the user's communication. In the process of adequately addressing a communication, the original information may be forwarded to one or more department heads within Canton City Government. Such information is not shared with or reviewed by any outside persons or entities.
