Full-time, year-around services for children with special needs and of
low-income families, adolescent parents and families referred by Children's
Protective Services. Services include nutrition programs, transportation, and
speech and language therapy. For children 6 weeks of age through kindergarten.
Also offers school-age program for children in kindergarten through the fifth grade.
State and Federally licensed.

Offers confidential counseling. Services include but are not limited to individual counseling, family therapy, various parenting groups, premarital and marital/couple counseling, and group counseling which focuses upon the special needs and problems blended families face. Assistance provided for adoption, special needs adoption and international adoption. Teen issues including abstinence program, employee development program and school outreach program. Office hours 8:30 - 5:00 weekdays, evenings by appointment.

Catholic Youth Council (330 454-9018)
Offers physical, social, educational and cultural activities for youth of
all ages, races and religions. Office hours 6 am - 10 pm weekdays.

Families First of Stark County, Inc. is a nonprofit that strives to strengthen families through parenting education and support.

The four programs of Families First are: H.U.G.S. (Help Understand Guide Support) works with mothers by offering Mom's Morning Out support groups, and parenting classes; Parents Anonymous of Stark County offers weekly support groups for parents throughout Stark County; Mother Mentor is a program that works with pregnant and parenting teens and offers support groups, parenting classes, and give a ways; Minority Outreach offers parenting classes to the multicultural community and support groups.

interpreter services; equipment and case management for the deaf and
hearing impaired; homemaker service; services for vulnerable older adults;

Office hours 8 am to 8 pm Monday through Wednesday;
8 am to 5:30 pm Thursday and Friday.
